maca boston ships throughout the United States using UPS as our third party shipping carrier. Orders placed by 5 pm generally go out next day unless shipping will take place over the weekend. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States . UPS will not to deliver to P.O. Boxes. maca boston is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for UPS. Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered, UPS may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver. Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates. maca boston is not responsible for any UPS delivery delays due to the high volume that UPS is experiencing during the pandemic.
While not required, we strongly suggest that someone to be home to receive your package delivery. Anything that happens next is entirely outside of our control. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person. If the package is not left, the customer is responsible for arranging pickup or re-delivery with the carrier. The customer is responsible for retrieving the package at all possible delivery locations such as front and side doors, mailbox, parcel locker, etc. The customer is responsible for packages left outside and exposed to bad weather/elements, and any other such delivery events beyond our control.
If you're sending a gift to someone, please let them know to "expect a package". It's not required but we recommend someone is home to receive the package, or perhaps ship to an alternate location–such as workplace–to avoid encountering any issues as previously stated. We have received several packages returned back to us because the recipient was unaware that they should be expecting a package. The fees incurred are a minimum of $18 to resend the package.

Due to the perishable and delicate nature of our products and how we are unable to control how our products are transported and stored once they leave our shop, maca boston does not accept returns, provide refunds or exchanges. We package our product the best we can to avoid breakage, but breakage can and may still occur. While this may be disappointing, we can assure it will still taste delicious. By placing an order on our website you are agreeing to the risks and potential failures of shipment.
